In legislative transition — verify before relying
Two enhanced programs may materially increase the rebate and are not calculated here:
- First-Time Home Buyers' GST Rebate — up to $50,000 for agreements on or after March 20, 2025.
- Ontario enhanced HST rebate — up to $130,000 for agreements Apr 1, 2026 – Mar 31, 2027; as of mid-2026 federal regulations and forms were still being finalized, so it often can't be credited at closing.
